It was loaded into the dumper, moved and spread out at the back of the house to form the supporting structure for the swimming pool. Ian has been watering it in place as it really needs to pack down a bit before we put the pool in place in five weeks time, and we haven't had any significant rain for some time.
Meanwhile, Mandi the cat is getting rather upset about the fact that everytime he looks outside the view has changed!

We're wondering what to do with our spoil. One idea was to use it as a wind break for a patio. Another was to let a neighbour use it for his garden - which he did, but barely made a dent in it.
The problem is that 95% of it is clay.
Can't really put a pool in, else the sheep will drown.
Just got the rest of my inheritance and starting work (properly) next week, thus it's full steam ahead on completing the build.
Our soil is full of clay in places as well.. this white stuff was from just above the rock layer where they dug the cellar! Good luck with the job and house build.
